Maybe as an additional comment to this point: It is right that I did the "input item“ patch for the resume playback feature. But here I was only trying to fix the previous version by Felix, which had quite some problems.

I am neither responsible for initially pushing this admittedly „hackish“ feature, nor for breaking the feature freeze. But you should have seen this from the commits.
