Yes, you miss that frameworks for Mac OS X are composed of symlinks,
so replacing those with actual files would triple their size. Been
there, done that, sorry, but not again.

Sorry, this issue must be fixed within MSYS. IMO, it is perfectly
legitimate to include symlinks in a tar archive.
