Excellent work, once again!

Yes, I remember quite a few people complaining about that on the forum,
but I thought it was just our font fallback mechanism that was wrong.

They control large areas of land, have their own oil fields, and receive direct support from many countries in the region. Namely from rich oil-producing countries. So they are never in short supply of funding, fighters, heavy weaponry, or even media outlets.

We in Aleppo, or more accurately in the western part of the city still under the control of the Syrian government, were at one point under siege by them, and they were on the verge of breaking in. It's only through God's mercy that we are not under their rule now.

Thanks a lot for speaking up.
This means a great lot to us, here in Paris, and probably more than you
can think: it's sometimes hard to react sanely after atrocities.
Especially when they are extremely close to you...
And when there is no good reason, except disliking the way we live.
But, do not think any second that we consider all Moslems in the same bag
as those "lunatics" (I would use a stronger word, maybe).
Clearly not in the VLC community, where the focus was always technical
quality, whatever you are and wherever you are from...
We know that they want us divided, depending on races, gender or
religions, so that they can gain control on more people. But, we will not
let them divide us, because we are strong (and sometimes "tête de mules").
As for you, my friend, we have no idea how you manage to survive those
attacks, where you are, where they must occur way more often than here.
And how you manage to keep coding on VLC!
And all that because of us. Notably, France, UK and the USA and our colonial
pasts and current greed. I just wish our politics would stop working with those
"rich oil-producing countries" that you speak about.
> My condolences to all those affected in any way by these attacks.
Thanks. A lot.
I wish you good luck, good wind, and I hope we'll see you here, in
Paris, very soon!
May the force be with you! May the bugs disappear where you walk!
Your French friend, jb.
