I think that was implied by "The sendmsg patch is ugly and I'm very open to alternatives"
But in any case, to clarify: I don't like this patch. If someone has a better understanding of the libc and sees a bug there, if someone know the (android) kernel more than I do and feels like investigating more, or if someone has a better solution, by all means, please let me know.
Yet so far, I don't see any other solution.
