[vlc-devel] [RFC 00/82] Update Qt to use the new player/playlist API and use QML engine

Sorry but as the defacto maintainer of the X11/Wayland adaptation, I neither want to have two separate GL outputs with different bugs and double maintenance effort, nor separate logic for Wayland and/or non-Qt X11 than for Qt X11.

In other words, I refuse to part with the Qt X11 vout window provider, and I don't see any justification for duplicating GL outputs on X11 (especially when it's not needee on Wayland).
