[vlc-devel] [PATCH] configure.ac: enforce compilation check for wordexp

Hi,

This is starting to be off-topic but since I don't think this
patch to be the best versus Thresh and Marvin's suggestion
anyway.

I don't think it's about decision document. TC is a shared
responsability and since the discussion are private, what is
finally unveiled to the mailing list should be discussed and
decided by the TC during the meeting in my opinion.

But my point wasn't even that:

You're asking for something whereas nobody except the TC has
been notified of what you request. I don't really care that
you don't want to document the decision but then I fail to
see how this inexistant document can serve the foundation of
the requests you emitted. That's all. Said otherwise, it's
still an unsolved problem with regards to the non-TC
community.
