I don't think that I'm not asking for anything.

You are asking for explanations, and that's legitimate. I'm saying that it's 
not up to me. I would be hard-pressed to give a proper explanation for 
decisions that I consider bad or worse.

By that line of thinking, I could ignore TC decisions on the sole basis that 
they have not been communicated.

That would be awfully convenient for me, if I don't agree with a given 
decision, but my common sense tells me that that would not be acceptable 
behaviour.
