Rémi, I understand that you have a grudge with Steve. That's human.
>From what I've seen, I don't necessarily understand myself how Steve's
actions would have made you feel that way, but then I don't pay
attention to everything going on in every patchset, and I'm not in your
shoes.

However, I wish your comments, or defense if you feel accused, were
based on something else than invoking Steve's actions and this grudge.
It would be greater if you commented on the removal and the procedural
concerns on their own merits, even if we can all guess and empathize
with your other feelings and motivations on the matter.

As for the CoC, from what I can read, it calls for approval, not just
request, notice or discussion. I'm not aware that anybody gave any
approval for the removal. But since it was worth dealing with, as you
pointed out, perhaps, regardless of whether procedures were violated so
far, we can after the fact agree on and approve this removal, or perhaps
Steve can agree on withdrawing the code. And then that part of the
matter can be resolved.

But if you have a grudge with Steve, accusations or unilateral forced
removal aren't a constructive way to deal with it. But at least it's
something, and hopefully a start, if a bad one.
