Fair theoretical point, if unlikely.

I have no reason to be pessimistic about it. YouTube signature
descrambling has been working fine for 7 years now using the same
successful initial design. The only updates it needed were minor ones,
or iterative refinements that were already envisioned in the initial
design.

So I say, we can cross that bridge when we come to it.
