At some point, we cannot go on like that.

You refuse to allow any incremental change on and any approach around VLM, because you've decided that you don't want VLM in VLC (because it is broken, according to you) and because it is in the core. So nothing besides removal of VLM is acceptable by you.
At the same time, you block any improvement of the code of VLM, you remove VLM features, you block moving it outside of the core to make a simpler core and simpler evolution... You block multiple playqueues and related features, etc...

You cannot be the only one to decide which features go in or out of VLC, just because you declare them as broken.

This is going on and on, and not just about VLM, and this is not acceptable to me.

If you refuse features evolutions in VLC, I will request a vote, because those are features.
