[vlc-devel] Interest in VLC Bounties – Which ones are still open and unlocked?

Hi,

The list hasn't been updated in a while, with some tasks having been done or partially done, or at least assigned to someone or other. Also prizes are like a decade old and, IMO, would need to be increased if only to account for inflation.

Also, the general expectation is that those tasks require more specific expertise than yours. In other words, it would take too much of your time to be worth it if you haven't already worked on VLC or something close enough. Indeed, you were expected to know which specific tasks you would be taking upon.

(And sure, you could wing it with AI, but then you'll piss off the reviewers and likely get nothing.)
