I already looked for you on IRC, but you had  8 hours idle time...
I am sending you the snapshot you asked. About the FAQ I think it it urgent, to
put it in the homepage. Listen , I know about the Livid project you mentioned,
a long time ago, but I was never able to compile it, because the have a 5000
line configure that always produces some error after intsalling and
reinstalling tons of libs, I was trying in the last days but nope, no luck.
Back to videolan the + - works for the sound, nice tip!, it should be on
"usage", unfortunately the sound is still very "metalic" if you see what I mean.

How are the legal subjects of DVD playing? I think the guys on Livid want to do
a complete DVD player so they'll have to use DeCSS, I heard that something was
beeing taken care by lawers, can you put me up to date about this? (If you have
time) . I think it is important that these matters are discussed, and DVD is
just starting in Portugal, but I think we should spread this thing out. You
could put something about all the legal problem on the FAQ too, even knowing
that videolan by itsefl just plays unencrypted vobs. Anyway , one of my goals
is to support DVD playing because it is a really high quality medium that
should not be forgotten, like happened to sony mini-disc. Here in portugal we
don't have so many people using it, how is it in France? The more people there
are using it, the more titles should come out too.
