Hi back,
Can you try out the new 0.2.7.0?  This one should be ok.  The french videolan guys have done a huge restructure of 
code over the last couple of weeks, for several days the daily snapshots did not work. 

I will look into the memory leak, and a new update should be there soon with chapter selection and the ability to turn 
off subtitles :)
