Stability of ts input

Steve,

Could you describe the sattelite feed you are using? I am looking into
vlc and am interested in DVB via sattelite. Who is providing feed? What
framerate are you getting with vlc?

I just saw a comment on the devel list suggesting that ts input needs
help. This has not been my experience.

Recently, I have been running lots of ts streams, both from disk and
from a satellite feed. Over the past few days, the stability has
improved markedly. Other than slightly delayed audio, it is very
impressive.

I have found that if I run with the -vvvv switch, I get spurious PES
packet size error messages.
