compiling on MacOSX

Hi, I'm new to the list...

I'm trying to build vlc on OSX.  Everything seems to work fine until at 
the end, I get the following errors and the build halts.  I'm sorry but 
I'm a total newbie in *NIX and any help will be appreciated.
