Dear VideoLan Team,

I recently downloaded the latest 'tarball' version of vlc but can't get 
it to build correctly.

I'm using Mac OSX 10.0.4, is there a problem when building it for this 
operating system or am I missing something / need something more that 
the vlc download.

I tried using a previous version of vlc (0.2.0)which built without 
errors however when I double click the app's icon it starts and quits.

Please help me, i'm really looking forward to watching my DVD's in OSX.
