Philo,
How did you go about installing. Did you use the RPMs or tarball? What were
your steps...?

I just got done trying out 0.2.90 for the first time.
A couple of impressions:
1. I like the window autoresizing to the right aspect ratio in window mode.
Nice.
2. Somehow you've fixed the buffering problem so far as I can tell. At
least
with my Interview with the Vampire title, it very rarely skipped or had
problems, and my virtual memory didn't climb & climb like in the past. (Or
is
this because I upgraded to Mandrake 8.1?)
3. The sound syncing seemed better, but I can't be sure of this one. It
seems
as though you replaced the algorithm and it tracks better and doesn't
"waver"
so much (as evidenced when music is playing. It might be off-key, but it
doesn't warble).
Summary: Awesome.
If I come across problems (I've got a lot more DVDs to test) I'll upgrade
to
the latest version before posting issues.
Cheers,
