I found one DVD that seems to be unencrypted (face/off, zone 1), at
least it allows me to read the vob files with "less". :)
if I mount the drive and then run vlc on a vob file:
./vlc --warning --input /cdrom/video_ts/vts_01_0.vob
the result is:
input: opening file /cdrom/video_ts/vts_01_0.vob
Garbage at input (e100e100)
Garbage at input (e100e100)
Old ref: 0/0, New ref: 0/982187639803411
End of file reached
if I umount and then run
./vlc --warning --input /dev/dvd
it works for a long while, but no picture or sound appears. it's been
working for over a minute now, nothing happens. the last line of output
I have is "module: locking module 'yuvmmx'"
