vlc seg faults after 10 min

Greetings,

    When I run any DVD well the 5 that I have, vlc seg faults after about 10
min or so.....  I am running 0.2.80 with x11 and esd output.  I ran vlc with
the verbose option and it didnt say why it was segfaulting, it just looks
like im closing the client out.  I do have to say that the playbe with vlc
is very good and you guys do a wonderful job of making this app work and
work very good.   Thanks and maybe someone can help me....
