simpleinit and inetd

Hi,
I'm thinking of installing simpleinit.
In my current system V configuration, I'm running inetd from inittab so that
it gets respawned should it fail.
Does anyone know of a way to set this up with simpleinit? The documentation
for it isn't great and it doesn't say anything about how or if the ttylines
can be configured for anything other than a tty, which I would expect is
where you'd put inetd.
