   vlc unloads plugin modules when they aren't being used to spare
resources, hence the messages at the bottom.

   The program then does not display anything because there is no GUI
module compiled in (try to compile the gtk plugin, for instance, by
installing the gtk-devel tools). If you do no want to use a GUI, you
will need to use vlc from the command line, such as "vlc dvd:/dev/hdc"
or "vlc file.mpeg".
