OK Better news..... i compiled nvidia's drivers and configured XF86Config to:
Driver "nvidia"
Load "glx"
Load "dri"
Load "GLcore"
hey X even loads with a nice NVIDIA splash screen ohhhhhhh ! man they actaully went out of there way on this one, I love it.
and video is smooth as hell ! just need to get audio smooth, maybe ill go buy a new sound card as i am running a Trident 4D wave 20 ( was free :) )
