vlc crashes on Mandrake-8.0

It might be a yuv plugin issue. You can try with option --yuv yuv.
Which compiler do you use ? Also, we have a memory corruption at the
moment that create many segfault especially in the video output; I
think that it is related to sound, so you can try option --noaudio.
