distorted screen/stop playing

Dear All!

With vlc I have a small problem under windows. The image is distorted and I can't figure out what settings would be ok. I tried hw acceleration on/off, output devices unsuccessful. This problem is present under WinMe/WinXP/Win2k. An image can be found here. Linux client has not the problem.
Another problem i found is that client stop displaying after a while. When i restart program via telnet playing is ok again. But it stops again. With linux client i realized that the time of playing is much longer if source is containing motions. Without it playtime is about 5mins. My source is a display of a console not movie. :) If the picture of the console is a simple prompt with blinking cursor there is a delay between source and destination picture which is increasing. Do you think it is a network related problem or vls? Thanks in advance!
