Compiling vlc .04.4

I plan to use this options to build vlc 0.4.4. I don't know if it's good since 
it seems that I've read some where that --enable-dvdread was useless now. Is 
--enable-kde working ?

./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-gnome --enable-dvbpsi --enable-dvdread 
--enable-mad --enable-ffmpeg --enable-arts
