Hello,
I use SuSE Linux 7.3 on a AMD-K6 500 machine
i downloaded the new tarball vlc-0.4.4
and made it. That seemed to work fine.
Then i start vlc and open a dvd.
The film started, but at the bottom of the interface there is a
transparent green area
(I use the gtk-interface x11 output)
The sound is very low, so i need to turn on speakers to full volume to
hear anything
The video-output is very slow (it seems like single picture mode). The
videooutput at windows version of vlc is faster (on the same machine).
How can I fix this problems?

Greetings from a german linux-beginner

Heiko
