Hi,

But I am trying "the fifth element", which is not crypted as said on VideoLAN webpage. Moreover, VLS can't stream the same DVD on my linux box, it says"ps2ts module missing", I still need your help to fix this...

Thanks,

Haining

Copying a VOB to the harddisk, will not work. Most DVD's are region
encoded and encrypted. In order to play a DVD with VLC, VLC has to talk
to the DVD drive to get the movie decrypted. When a VOB has been copied
to harddisk and that is being played with VLC, it obviously cannot talk
to the harddrive.
