Hi all,
I just installed the videolan client in my Linux system (RedHat 7.3),
mostly to view DVD's. However, even though I have quite a new computer,
the viewing (both, sound & image) is somewhat slow.
I'm running a Pentium IV 2Ghz, my video Card is a Geforce 2 with 64Mb
and my DVD is 16x, using UltraDMA 2 for transfers. It should run
quicker, shouldn't it? Anybody can help me with an idea of where to look
to improve the performance?
Thanks,
Damián
P.D. I'm using the XVideo output plugin.
