[vlc] VLC works under Window XP on a Tecra 780 DVD

My wife uses this machine and I'm surprised VLC works but it does produce a picture from the DVD drive (RPC1) that this machine has.

If anybody knows of any software that can utilize the already inbuild hardware mpeg decoder chip I'd like to know about it.
