I notice the following feature (not bug, see above):

Using either alt-f or the "full screen" window button makes the display 
window expand to fill the screen.  The video image being displayed doesn't 
change size or aspect ratio just repositions itself to the same upper left 
corner of the new, large window.

Is this the intended action?
