vlc problem, urgent, help

That is typically an installation problem. There is 3 solutions :
     -you didn't install it
     -you did the install but not in a proper directory (known by the
     system)
     -something really bad has happened during compilation/installation
     time

Maybe you cand send the configure command you have passed in the ML ?
