   The confusion seems to come from here. There are two DVD plugins
in vlc: dvd.so, which uses libdvdcss2, and dvdread.so, which uses
libdvdread. Your version of libdvdread seems to be a bit old, since it
requires libdvdcss0, but you can safely ignore this error since dvd.so
will work very well. Just ignore anything related to libdvdread in this
version of vlc.

   Keys are not stored yet, and should be compatible between versions
anyway.
