Problem configuring vlc 0.4.1

Hi,

I try to configure vlc-0.4.1 on my GNU/Linux system and I got this :

[...]
checking for sdl12-config... no
checking for sdl11-config... no
checking for sdl-config... /usr/local/bin/sdl-config
checking for SDL/SDL.h... no
configure: error: The development package for SDL is not installed. 
[...]

But i have SDL.h on my system at /usr/local/include/SDL/SDL.h
So I don't understand why it doesn't find it.



It would be great if you could help me with this !
