How can I loose these errors ?

Hi,

Using vlc on RH 7.2 w/ gnome

When I run vlc it loads fine but then when I load the dvd to play it
produces this:

libdvdcss error: failed opening device
dvd error: dvdcss can't open device
module error: requested access module `dvd' unavailable
input error: no suitable access plug-in for `dvd/(null):/dev/dvd at 1,1'

Anyone know what is going wrong here ?
