Error compiling from CVS under Mac OS X

Hi, I tried compiling the newest CVS for Mac OS X, and I got the following
error:

/usr/bin/ld: table of contents for archive: /usr/X11R6/lib/libXv.a is out of
date; rerun ranlib(1) (can't load from it)
/usr/bin/ld: multiple definitions of symbol _g_atexit
plugins/gtk.a(gtk.o.gtk) definition of _g_atexit in section (__TEXT,__text)
/usr/local/lib/libglib12.a(gutils.o) definition of _g_atexit in section
(__TEXT,__text)
gmake: *** [vlc] Error 1

Is this something that I need to update on my system, and if so, how? For
reference, I did a standard configure, except with plugins disabled. Thanks
for the help!
