[vlc] Feature request?

I just tested VLC for MacOSX and it is GREAT! But there is no such  
thing as a perfect piece of software. So I have a feature request.
There is a program called "MovieOut", (probably based on  Apple's  
SimpleVideoOut sample application,

SimpleVideoOut.htm
It makes it possible to stream a movie to a DV device or export into DV  
or other formats.

That funktionality would be very nice to have in VLC!
