Well, the rc plugin doesn't work as expected on windows and I must admit I 
don't know why.
stdin, stdout and stderr are all redirected to the new console opened-up by 
the rc plugin but stdin fails to work. Even stranger is the fact that this 
same rc plugin works without a glitch when vlc is started from an MSYS 
shell. As I said, I don't understand what's going on.
