Of course we do not use the same algorithm as Apple DVD Player, so 
picture quality isn't the same - however at present, all people who 
have tried both VLC and Apple DVD Player think that VLC's picture is 
better.

It will be improved a bit in 0.5.0.

This is highly non-trivial with the current structure, and won't 
happen before many months.
