Port for BeBox on BeBits?

Greetings

I've just compiled libdvdcss for the BeBox (dual PPC 603e) and I am now
trying to get VLC to compile.
What I was wondering is if there is a possibility to contact the
developer that's in charge of the BeOS port, and perhaps get the PPC port
up on BeBits (with the source modification it requires).
