[vlc] 0.5.3 experiences

Using the test2 version of 0.5.3 I was pleasantly surprised to find that the
audio sync problem I had with 0.5.2 was fixed! I did not have to set any
parameters, it just worked. Thank you, VLC developers!

However, testing on the Mac produced less splendid results. The following is
from the Crash log. (Note: the machine was somehow left in a state with
reversed video and gray scale (iMac running OSX 10.2.4). It took awhile but
I finally found the coregraphics.plist file that put the machine in this
state and deleted it, returning the monitor to normal video.  I have never
seen anything like this occur before.

This crash occurred when I attempted to close the video window.
