Hello,

I have a sound problem with VLC. I have no sound with MPEG-2 files but I
have with MPEG-1 ones and I can play the MPEG-2 files with xine and mplayer.
I have the following message.

VideoLAN Client 0.5.4-cvs Natalya
[00000169] main input: playlist item `/home/Films/vob/FinalFantasy.vob'
ALSA lib pcm.c:1645:(snd_pcm_open_conf) Invalid type for PCM
iec958:AES0=0x2,AES1=0x82,AES2=0x0,AES3=0x2 definition (id: iec958,
value: cards.pcm.iec958)
[00000174] main audio output error: couldn't find a filter for the first
part of the conversion
[00000174] main audio output error: couldn't set an input pipeline
[00000169] access_file input: closing `/:///home/Films/vob/FinalFantasy.vob'

Has anybody some ideas ?

Claude
