[vlc] pixellated vlc

Hi all,  I'm running the vlc 0.5.3  browser plugin on a  Linux box.  I'm
seeing pixellated  video -  like somebody ran  a Photoshop plugin  on my
video.  If I switch to fullscreen mode, the video is just fine.

I've attached  a small 32k jpg  which shows my  situation.  Please don't
laugh at the quality  of the picture ;) Yes I >DID<  just take a digicam
pic of the screen >:b

Have a look - any ideas what's wrong?
