GPL'ed software on a promotional, marketing disc?
Well, nothing wrong with that from the standpoint of the GPL, but...

Guess they should have a new catagory on their CD, perhaps with
a note in the article -
1) The copy of VLC enclosed is not a limited use demo;
2) The copy of VLC enclosed is not a limited function version;
3) The copy of VLC enclosed is the "Real Thing" - If you like it:
3a) Keep it as long as you like;
3b) Use it as much as you like;
3c) If you want to pass it on, see the link above.

It will be like hiding a jewel amoung the marketing (deleted).
