[vlc] Feature Request: On-demand TCP streaming

Hello :)

I'd just like to put in a request for a small feature...

I have a situation where I can receive an MPEG2 Program Stream if I connect to 
a unicast IP address on a certain TCP port - I guess thi s is a form of 
Video-On-Demand, using pull rather than push technology...

At the present time, VLC doesn't seem to allow this from the Open -> Network 
window...

Would this be something that could be incorporated in future VLCs?
