[vlc] win32 - 5.1 Sound w/o center

Good day,

first post to the list.

I connect my PC via SP/DIF to a AV Receiver. Watching the fast and the 
furious does not give me any sound out on the center channel. I already 
changed the sound environment in the control panel to 5.1, which fixed 
my previous problem in hearing most of the sound out of the front left 
speaker.

So, anyone out there running VLC under Win32 (Win2k) with SP/DIF out and 
a 5.1 setup watching DVDs successfully?
