[vlc] vlc-0.6.0 and user interfaces

context : slackware-9.0 with gnome2 and kde-3.1.2

I have compiled vlc with the following options :
  ./configure \
     --prefix=/usr \
     --enable-aa \
     --enable-arts \
     --enable-dvdplay \
     --enable-dvdread \
     --enable-esd \
     --enable-gtk2 \
     --enable-kde \
     --enable-mad \
     --enable-ncurses \
     --enable-oss \
     --enable-qt

When I start vlc, video and sound outputs are ok, but the user
interface is very strange :
- title : "VLC (Gtk2 interface)" (gnome2 if gnome2 is enabled)
- upper line : " File Edit View Help"
- second line : icones with title "Button 1", "Button 2", "Button 3"
but no action is possible to control sound or video

I have tried others configuration parameters :
    --enable-gnome2
    --enable-basic-skins
--enable-pth (in this case, no video output)
with the same result.

With vlc-0.5.3 and slackware-8.1, gnome1 and kde-3.1 the user
interface was correct.

If I start vlc with aliases (kvlc, qvlc or wxvlc), vlc stops
or crashes after 2 or 3 seconds. As written in the documentation
the aliases are not operational but the user interface seems
to be more complete.
- kvlc : vlc crashes
- qtvlc : vlc stops with a message
  "qvlc; qtinterface warning : unimplemented"
- wxvlc : vlc stops with a message :
"GThread-ERROR, GThtread system may only be initialized once"
  "Aborting"

What I did wrong or what package is missing ?
