This is what I got when I entered Benjamin's on both the broadcast and
the Powerbook Client with open DVD no menu support
access_udp: this UDP syntax is deprecated; the server argument will be
access_udp: ignored (10.0.1.255 dvdold/dev/rdisk1:0). If you wanted to
enter a multicast address
access_udp: or local port, type : udp:@10.0.1.255 dvdold/dev/rdisk1:0
main: no suitable access module for `/://udp:10.0.1.255
dvdold/dev/rdisk1 at 1,1'
access_udp: cannot parse bind port near @10.0.1.255 dvdold/dev/rdisk1:0
main: no suitable access module for `/://udp://@udp:@10.0.1.255
dvdold/dev/rdisk1:0'
Then when I follwed the instructions and typed in udp:@10.0.1.255
dvdold/dev/rdisk1:0 like the error message told me to I got a black DVD
screen with nothing playing in it BUT there were no errors so we're
very close to solving it I feel.
Then, when I entered Alexis' code of udp:10.0.1.255
dvdold/dev/rdisk1 at 1,1 on BOTH computers I got
access_udp: cannot parse server port near /dev/rdisk1
main: no suitable access module for `/://udp:10.0.1.255
dvdold:/dev/rdisk1 at 1,1'
We're so close! Thank you again for all your help.
