[vlc] Re: vlc functioning on ipv6 addresses

Gaurav,

you have to give the command

vlc -vvv filename.mpg --sout udp://[dead:dead:dead:dead:02d0:b7ff:feac:42bf]:1234 --ipv6

Remind that this is global unicast address, I haven't played with link local addresses up to know, but on link local addresses you have to add the interface to be used on your server.
