What do you mean by "Surround" Vorbis ? VLC should support multichannel (up 
to 5.1) vorbis without any problem (although personnaly I only tested 
stereo). If you have a sample that is creating you some problems than 
please upload it somewhere so I can have a look.

VLC also support Sorenson Video v3 without any problem (have a look at the 
VLC-0.6.0-test versions) thanks to ffmpeg.
