[vlc] Re: vlc0.6.0-test1 compilation & use problems

I'm sorry to inform you that VLC currently has quite bad alsa support. From
what I can read from your logs you are trying to use alsa+spdif, have you
tried without using spdif, and with OSS emulation?

try using 'vlc --aout="" --nospdif'.
